Timbers are made of a combination of 60% UV-protected polypropylene (recycled plastic) and 40% wood flour from a sustainable resource. Just fit the tubular ends together, then fasten with a ground stake to keep the sandbox securely together and in place. Plus, you can "recycle" these timbers use them as edging around a play area or raisedbed garden. Attractive in touch and color, they are all-season durable. Unlike pressure treated wood (which are saturated in noxious chemicals) there are no dangerous chemicals present in the timbers. Resists warping from winter frost and will not splinter or rot from exposure to rain and moisture the way wood will.
